The Valair NMU70G56TRIPLE-COMP Competition Triple Disc Clutch for your 2005.5-2016 Dodge 5.9L/6.7L Cummins G56 is the ultimate competition clutch. This triple disc clutch features a weighted design that can withstand 1200+ HP! These competition clutches feature a billet flywheel with floater plates and a weighted lever style pressure plate.

Kit Includes: Billet Flywheel, Floater Plates, Weighted Lever style Pressure Plate, Clutch Disc, Release Bearing, Pilot Bearing and Alignment Tool.
Application Notes: These competition clutches feature driving characteristics that are considered harsh, including idle noise and a "jerky" and "grabby" engagement making them far from ideal for daily use. If your truck is a high powered general use, all purpose, daily driver, the Street Triple Disc would be your better option.
G56 Gear Rollover Facts: When converting a G56 transmission over to a solid mass flywheel vs. dual mass flywheel, gear rollover is inevitable. Gear rollover noise is often heard when the vehicle is idling or under a load in low RPM ranges (often referred to as sounding like marbles in the transmission). This is completely normal.
Gear rollover noise is caused by reverse engine spike and can in most cases be drastically reduced by simply changing the oil in the transmission or reducing engine spike produced by inadequate engine components (ex. misfiring injector, FCA problems, Electronic programming). The oil recommended by the transmission manufacture Mercedes-Benz is “Mobil Delvac Synthetic Transmission Fluid 50.” We at Valair Inc. recommend draining completely and refilling with 7 quarts. Only 6 quarts will fit when utilizing the fill hole, the final quart will need to be filled through the shift tower.
Disengagement Noise: On all dual and triple disc clutches, a noise will be associated with the disengagement of the clutch. This is due to the intermediate plate(s) floating freely in the lugs of the flywheel. This is NOT a bad throw out bearing!!! The noise can possibly get more noticeable during the break-in period of the clutch due to the intermediate plate(s) seating in.
