The Valair 13" Upgrade Clutch NMU70279-HD-5SCE is an HD stock replacement clutch for your 1994-2003 Dodge 5.9L Cummins 5-speed transmission. Aftermarket organic clutches are generally better than the OEM clutch you get from your dealer. This is due to the better quality materials used, the quality of the manufacturing process, and QC. Some clutches also offer higher plate loads as opposed to the standard plate load thus giving the clutch better holding ability than its OE counterpart. For use on NV4500 5-Speed Transmission.
